Sing for Hope Pianos

Sing for Hope Pianos

Sing for Hope Pianos is New York City’s largest recurring public art project. Throughout this month, these artist-designed pianos have been placed throughout many parks and public spaces for anyone to play. After this year’s project is done, the pianos will be donated to NYC public schools to support creative programs and enrich students’ lives.

Sing for Hope works with under-resourced schools, hospitals, and community centers throughout the five boroughs to grow the arts community in the city. In addition to the piano project, Sing for Hope organizes volunteers who are singers, poets, artists, and the like to share their talents with the community. Click here to find out more about their volunteer opportunities.
These pianos will be on display through Sunday, June 25th. Make some time this weekend to visit one of the pianos using the official 2017 map.
